About Coffee & Crafts
Coffee and Crafts was a small internal event at American Tombow headquarters. The purpose of the event was to invite the brand's most loyal fans to tour the offices, enjoy a light breakfast and create unique crafts using Tombow products and focusing on current trends of lettering, doodling, planning and paper crafting.
I designed the short-term identity for the event that centered around a fun, playful illustration of a girl holding a cup of coffee in one hand and a Dual Brush Pen in the other. This illustration served as the logo for the event, and when paired with typography and event details, it doubled as the event invitation that was shared with thousands of fans across all Tombow's Social Media accounts.

Internal Signage
Way-finding signage was created for each event space to display on the televisions and computer monitors throughout the office. These designs feature parts of the logo to create variety and give each class a different look. For example, the Paper Crafting Projects class featured the ampersand from the logo and the Lettering and Book Signing station incorporated the isolated coffee cup from the logo.
Classroom Entrance Signs
8x10" flyers were created to hang near the doorway to each office space to help guests navigate their way to and from each class. These designed differed from the signs used on the TV screens and monitors and featured the Tombow coffee cup with the class title in alternating background colors.
